MOBILE SHEEP DIPPING WITH 100% LICE ERADICATION - ESTABLISHED 1992 - RIVERINA & SOUTH WEST SLOPES NSW, AUSTRALIA

About

Starting in the sheep dipping business in the 1980's, Barry McDermott would later join forces with his son, Jason, and in the 1990's they formed a partnership that would last 20 years. Based in the Wagga Wagga district, they designed and built the first hydraulic cage plunge dip in the Riverina.

With the great success of the first design, they went on to further improve the design and built a new dip which is still operating in Wagga today.

Barry went on to retire and sold the business in 2011 and by 2018 Jason decided to return to dipping as the owner-operator of McDermott Sheep Dipping, building himself another hydraulic plunge dip, again using his own design.

Comfortably dipping up to 500 – 600 sheep per hour, the stress-free machine can also treat alpacas and goats.

Say hi.
